You won’t want to miss this year’s event as we have a special surprise in store for everyone that attends the 2008 Michigan Buggy Builders (MBB) show.

What’s the big news, you ask? We recently received confirmation that Bruce Meyers will be attending the 27th Annual MBB event. Bruce Meyers and his wife, Winnie, will be at the show displaying a Manxter 2+2, and they will have t-shirts for sale along with information related to the company’s new Manxter buggies. Bruce will also be available for photographs, as well as signing autographs on a Limited Edition Off-Road Collector’s Memorabilia Card that will be provided FREE to the first 4,000 people that visit the Meyers Manx booth. These cards feature several photos directly from Meyers’ personal archives.

As many of you know, Bruce Meyers is largely responsible for spawning the dune buggy craze during the early 1960s with the creation of his fiberglass-bodied Manx. Meyers Manx’s were first overall and second in their class at the inaugural Baja Mexican 1000 off-road race held 40 years ago in 1967. They’ve also won every type of motorsports competition from drag racing to custom car shows during the subsequent years. Inarguably, it was Bruce Meyers who pioneered the fiberglass dune buggy industry that we continue to enjoy today.

If you would like to personally meet Bruce Meyers, as well as see the company’s newest vehicle in person, make plans now to be at the Michigan Buggy Builders Show.
